Information Regarding Changes in Engine Starting Conditions for Flood-Damaged Vehicles

Dear Valued Customers,

Thank you for your continued support.
As stipulated in our Customer Agreement, Section 7.4: Non-Covered Claims, changes in product condition presumed to have arisen from the passage of time or natural ageing are excluded from our warranty coverage.
However, with the increasing number of flood-damaged vehicles being handled, we have received numerous enquiries regarding changes in engine starting performance.
Therefore, to provide clearer information, from auctions ending on 1st of November 2025, we will add the following comment to the product remarks section for flood-damaged vehicles:
※Please be advised that while items without comments may occasionally be included, there is no difference in the criteria for accepting claims.
※Hybrid vehicles, EV vehicles※
【Flood-damaged vehicles】To prevent fire hazards, the service plug will be removed after the inspection is complete.
Please note that engine starting and warning light illumination are not covered under warranty.
※Petrol vehicles, Diesel vehicles※
【Flood-damaged vehicles】Engine starting and warning light illumination are excluded from the warranty.
