Notice Regarding Changes in Engine Starting Conditions for Water-Damaged Vehicles
Dear Customers,
Thank you for using our services.
As stated in Section 7.4, "Non covered claims" of our Terms and Conditions, changes in the condition of a product that are presumed to have occurred due to the passage of time, normal deterioration, or other similar causes are not covered by our warranty.
The same policy applies to changes in the engine starting condition and warning light status of vehicles affected by water damage, as described below. We kindly ask for your understanding in advance.
■ Hybrid Vehicles / EVs
【Water-Damaged Vehicles】
For safety reasons, including fire prevention, the service plug is removed after the assessment has been completed.
Therefore, any changes after the completion of the assessment in the engine starting condition or in the illumination/display status of warning lights are not covered by our warranty.
■ Gasoline / Diesel Vehicles
【Water-Damaged Vehicles】
Any changes after the completion of the assessment in the engine starting condition or in the illumination/display status of warning lights are not covered by our warranty.
■ Notes
・For some vehicles, comments regarding the above may not be included. However, there is no difference in the claim acceptance criteria or warranty coverage. Please be aware of this in advance.
・For vehicles subject to a simplified assessment, comments regarding the above are not included; however, such vehicles are likewise not covered by the warranty.
